The CF 77 Bi-fold is the most specified system in Zakuna’s aluminium external door programme, combining the visual drama of a wide, clear opening with the thermal and weather performance that UK residential and commercial projects require.
The folding panel mechanism allows a wide opening to be cleared almost completely — sashes fold and stack compactly to one or both ends of the aperture, dissolving the threshold between interior and exterior living space and creating the seamless indoor-outdoor connection that has become central to contemporary residential architecture. Each leaf operates independently, so the opening can be partially or fully opened as the weather and occasion demand. The thermally broken multi-chamber aluminium profile ensures that this spatial openness does not come at the cost of thermal performance.
Available in two to six leaf configurations to suit openings of different widths, with the option to fold to one or both sides.
Double or triple glazed units can be specified, and solar control, acoustic and security glass are all available. Comprehensive RAL colour range with dual colour options. Multi-point high-security locking and Secured by Design accreditation are standard. Smart access and automation options are available for motor-assisted operation on larger configurations.
