With a more graceful 180×180mm central box string, this design maintains the visual impact and structural integrity of the Contender, whilst occupying a more slender footprint. Because the string is narrower, more light passes through and around the staircase, making it exceptionally suited to properties with limited headroom or hallways where maximising visual openness is critical. Self-supporting and engineered to the same precision standards as its larger cousin, the Contender Slim Staircase is available in steel or timber, with extensive colour and finish options to suit any interior. Kites, winders, and curved versions are available, allowing architects and designers to specify a sophisticated solution that doesn’t compromise on its engineering excellence.
