The Cantilever Staircase represents the ultimate expression of contemporary staircase design — a true floating staircase where each tread appears to levitate effortlessly.
The Cantilever Staircase incorporates treads that are fixed over the tread plates of the concealed framework, which is hidden behind a structural wall. The absence of visible fixing elements or structural framework creates a seamless floating appearance, with dramatic shadows cast beneath each tread that intensify the sense of weightlessness. This is architecture as drama, perfect for high-end residential projects, luxury apartments, and prestige commercial spaces where the staircase itself is intended to be a sculptural masterpiece. Available with a comprehensive range of bespoke tread options — timber, glass, stone, or composite materials — the Cantilever Staircase can be fully customised to complement your interior aesthetic. Balustrades can be specified as frameless glass with concealed fixings, allowing the floating tread design to take centre stage.
As well as functional, the Cantilever Staircase is an art installation that transforms the character of an entire interior. Every detail is engineered for precision: the exact spacing of treads, the subtle alignment with the hidden wall structure, the shadow play that enhances the floating effect.
