The Snipe Staircase is a masterwork of contemporary staircase engineering, representing a sophisticated synthesis of three design traditions — the angular strength of the Challenger Staircase, the enclosed efficiency of the Solo Staircase, and the compact elegance of the Topaz Staircase.
This distinctive folded steel design features steel tube strings on either side supporting steel tread and riser pans that create a continuous zig-zag flow visible from every angle. The integrated tread and riser construction is fully tailor-made to your specification, offering a robust staircase with exceptional visual presence. Available in any RAL colour, stainless steel, Corten steel, or galvanised steel, the Snipe Staircase offers extensive finish customisation. The continuous zig-zag pattern is architecturally striking and structurally efficient. An optional integrated LED lighting system within the steel strings can add sophisticated ambiance, transforming the staircase into a dramatic interior feature.
The Snipe Staircase demonstrates that complex engineering can be expressed with visual simplicity. The folded steel construction creates a staircase of exceptional structural confidence — the integrated tread and riser pans are fully tailor-made, allowing complete customisation to your spatial requirements.
All Zakuna Snipe Staircases comply fully with UK building regulations and are engineered to exacting structural standards. The continuous zig-zag flow is architecturally interesting and can be appreciated from above, below, and the side — making it an exceptional focal point for open-plan interiors. Handrails are available in a variety of contemporary and specialist profiles. The optional LED lighting system transforms the staircase into a dramatic architectural feature.
