The Aluminium Clad Casement 78 is the most versatile outward-opening model in Zakuna’s dual-material window range, built on a 78mm three-layer engineered wood beam with precision aluminium outer cladding.
The 78mm profile provides excellent thermal performance and accommodates larger double or triple glazed units, making it the preferred choice for new build projects and extensions where energy efficiency is a priority alongside visual quality. The dual-material construction gives specifiers the ability to present a warm, natural timber face on the interior — connecting authentically with timber floors, doors and wall panels — while presenting a clean, contemporary and virtually maintenance-free aluminium exterior to the building facade. Multi-point espagnolette locking is standard throughout.
The aluminium exterior is available in a comprehensive RAL colour range with dual colour options. The timber interior can be specified in any Zakuna species — oak, walnut, engineered hardwood — with stain or factory paint finish to match the internal scheme. Double or triple glazed units available.
