The Aluminium Clad Tilt and Turn Euro 78 is the most specified inward-opening model in Zakuna’s aluminium clad timber window range, built on a 78mm three-layer engineered wood beam with a precision-formed aluminium outer cladding.
It delivers the best of both materials: the visual warmth, natural grain and tactile quality of a timber interior face, combined with the dimensional stability, weather resistance, and virtually zero maintenance of an aluminium exterior. The tilt function allows the sash to open partially from the top, providing controlled ventilation and a safe opening option. The full turn position opens the sash fully inward for cleaning from inside and maximum airflow. The profile achieves a heat transfer coefficient of U=1.0 W/m²K — placing it among the most thermally efficient window systems available for residential and commercial specification.
Available with double or triple glazed units depending on the energy performance requirements of the project. The aluminium exterior is available in a comprehensive RAL colour range, with the option to specify different exterior and interior finishes for complete design flexibility.
The timber interior can be finished in any Zakuna timber species, stain or paint colour to match the internal joinery and flooring. Multi-point espagnolette locking is standard throughout. The profile co-ordinates directly with the Casement 78 and the wider aluminium clad timber range for mixed-specification projects, and with the full Zakuna external door programme for complete envelope co-ordination.
