The Casement 78 is the most versatile outward-opening window in Zakuna’s timber range, built on a 78mm three-layer engineered wood beam profile.
The additional depth relative to the Casement 60 provides enhanced thermal performance and accommodates larger glazed units, making it the preferred specification for new build projects, extensions and renovations where energy efficiency is a priority alongside architectural quality. The Casement 78 suits the widest range of architectural contexts — from traditional rural and period homes to contemporary architect-designed new builds — and can be specified with confidence across all of these building types. The internally beaded construction provides security without visual compromise, and multi-point espagnolette locking is fitted as standard.
Double or triple glazed units are available, giving the specifier full control over thermal and acoustic performance.
The Casement 78 is available in the complete Zakuna range of timber species, stains and factory-applied paint finishes in any RAL or NCS colour — from natural oak with a warm honey stain through to factory-painted anthracite or soft white.
