The Tilt and Turn Euro 78 is the core inward-opening timber window in Zakuna’s range, built on a 78mm three-layer engineered wood beam profile.
The tilt function allows the sash to open partially from the top, providing controlled ventilation without fully opening the panel — an important feature in UK bedrooms and living spaces where safety, security and fresh air must be balanced. The full turn function opens the sash completely inward, making cleaning straightforward from inside even on upper floors. The 78mm profile delivers excellent thermal performance with double or triple glazed unit options, and the internally beaded construction adds security without compromising the clean external sightlines. Multi-point espagnolette locking is fitted as standard across the range.
Available across all standard and bespoke sizes, the Tilt and Turn Euro 78 can be specified in a comprehensive range of timber species — including Oak, Walnut and engineered hardwoods — with a choice of stain and factory-applied paint finishes in any RAL or NCS colour.
The profile co-ordinates directly with the Casement 78 and the wider Zakuna window programme for projects where multiple opening types are required across the same building elevation. Matching external door profiles are available for complete envelope co-ordination. All windows are bespoke, made to the exact dimensions of your opening, and leave the factory primed or finished for straightforward site installation.
