Folly - Exeter

Working with both the builder and his client, Zakuna created a bespoke design which they applied to both the external and internal doors of this contemporary new build home. For an ultra modern feel and a completely unique look, Zakuna designed the front door to incorporate brushed stainless steel inserts which were set into CNC horizontal grooves.

The European Oak entrance door has a pivoting opening system that allows the management of large size doors for prestigious entrances. At 1.4m wide x 2.4m high, this door was the perfect choice.  The front door rotates around its vertical axis, it doesn’t require jambs and so perfectly integrates with the glazed walls to make a bold and dramatic statement. The hinges are also integrated into the panel ensuring maximum functionality without affecting its appearance.

Electric key pad entry, high security locking system and high thermal values all contribute to one of the finest front entrances.

The design was followed throughout the property with a further exterior door with internal doors, all featuring the stainless steel inserts and matching irongmongery.  

The Inlaid 100 European Oak internal doors were manufactured as pre-hung door sets, crafted from the highest quality timber, engineered for precision and included premium features such as concealed hinges, flexible door seals, magnetic door latches and latch keeps which add to the minimal design and prevent slamming.
