Tall Trees as an outstanding, statement contemporary home, located within the unspoilt South Nottinghamshire village of Widmerpool. With an interior layout measuring almost 8,000 sq/ft, every inch of detail designed, crafted and installed by artisan specialists and bespoke experts.

INTERNAL TIMBER DOORS: DESIGNO INLAID IN103

A suite of double and single Zakuna Designo Inlaid IN103 Doors were chosen for a classic, yet contemporary feel, finished with an Oak Veneer and bespoke Grey Stain. Most doors were specified at a generous 2.4m in height, for a look of grandeur.

The door design was specified with a rectangular 12mm black painted wooden inlay, 110mm in from the edges of the door. This detail emulates the black steel of the Zakuna Ferro Porte Doors, also chosen for this project, creating a feeling of opulence. Black concealed hinges and latched were chosen for design cohesion.

Our Internal Door Sets are pre-hung in the factory for perfect alignment and closure with CNC precision engineering of fittings for high performance.

Our telescopic Architrave Door Frame System was specified, with the grain carefully matched to each door leaf. The butt join and slimmer head section creates a stylish feature joint for a contemporary look.

All doors were delivered as supply only and fitted on-site by the client. Bespoke door handles were supplied by the client, specifically designed by award-winning designer Philip Watts.

The double doors to the entrance lobby were supplied without architraves to one side so the client could create a bespoke frame surrounded with LED lighting, for a dramatic effect.

Oak Veneered Stair Capping & Window Boards for the top of the stair landing were also designed and supplied to colour match the doors.

FERRO PORTE STEEL & GLASS DOORS M111

A suite of Zakuna 'Ferro Porte' Steel & Glass Internal Doors were specified to add a minimalist and contemporary look to this stunning property, keeping the maximum amount of natural light flowing through the interior, whilst also providing inner vision.

The M111 Doors are characterised by slim steel profiles which give a modern contemporary look with heritage styling. The unique square, diagonal design looks stunning, with clear glass panels and 15mm face fixed steel beadings. This attractive design creates striking aesthetics throughout the interior.  

All Double Door Sets have rebated leading edges, fitted with pre-installed shoot-bolts.

The steel profiles are finished in RAL 9005 Matt, with L Shape Pull Handles welded to the leading edge of each door sash. Double Door Sets include magnetic latches and flexible door seals for soft closure. Hinges are visible, colour matched to the door finish.

Double Doors with wide sidelights to both sides were specified, leading to the interior pool and spa, creating an inviting entrance. Two sets of double doors were specified to the kitchen. The double doors to the dining room were designed with an integral 4 panel fixed screen, spanning over 5m in width. This configuration creates a spectacular feature between the rooms, allowing good vision through to the kitchen.  

Every Zakuna door set is engineered with complete precision. Doors are pre-hung in the factory for perfect alignment and closure with CNC engineering of fittings and ironmongery for high performance and easy operation. All doors were delivered as supply only and fitted on-site by the client.
