Contender Flared Staircase

We are delighted with this installation of our award winning Contender Staircase. The free-standing staircase with its flared configuration, stands magnificently in the centre of the hallway, creating a beautiful focal point at both floor levels, for this luxury contemporary home in Essex.

This stunning Contender Staircase is flared on the lower steps, creating a feeling of grandeur. The minimalistic design of glass with button fixings, chunky, 100mm thickness, Smoked Oak treads, contrasts with the white steel central string, giving the appearance of a floating staircase. Curved tinted glass balustrades with stainless steel handrails transcend to a spectacular open landing, with further glass balustrades surrounding the stairwell.

A suite of pre-hung internal doors were also installed to complete the design scheme, and add a further touch of elegance to the interior.

Zakuna Designo Inlaid IN100 interior doors were specified for their simple and classic inlay door design. The pre-hung door sets, with our Architrave system, were manufactured in Torino, Ash with 4 equally spaced horizontal "U" grooves, 5mm wide. Stainless steel inlays were set in the grooves, sitting flush to the door surface.

Modern stainless steel door handles complement the style and add the perfect finishing touch.
