Renovation Project - Weybridge, Surrey

Zakuna proudly worked with award winning design led architecture and interior design studio Concept Eight Architects  for this exciting renovation project, to extend and remodel a luxury family home in Weybridge.

The brief was to create a contemporary feel, whilst keeping as much natural light flowing through the interior, as possible. Our award winning Contender Staircase was specified, for its modern design with central steel string, clean lines and glass balustrades.

The two flight Contender Staircase looks stunning from all angles and with no visible fixing element gives the look of a seamless 'floating staircase', exuding quality.

The black steel central spine is understated, subtly blending into the background, matching the black interior steel and glass doors, for design cohesion.

Black button fixings to the glass balustrade give a stylish appearance, whilst complementing the interior design scheme.

Stained Oak treads are 40mm thickness with a step nose are perfectly colour matched to the owner's flooring. A bespoke solid tread to the lower step creates an interesting design feature and an inviting approach to the stairs.

Matching rectangle Stained Oak handrails and Stained Oak aprons around the openings are all colour matched to complete the interior design.
