Telescopic Doors

Telescopic Doors or otherwise known as 'By-Pass Doors' are ideal when the door opening is a wide and you need to collect the doors on a smaller wall. This system can operate with 2, 3 or 4 door variants. The doors can be neatly stacked to the side in front of one another or can also be incorporated into a cavity wall.

This system is particularly suitable for use as partition door systems in homes, offices, hotels and conference rooms.

Our Telescopic Doors system allows door panels weighing up to 120kg, to slide back into the same pocket in the wall smoothly and simultaneously.

Designed using a toothed belt and pulley system, the doors are linked together so that as one door is opened or closed, the others will follow. The system also incorporates a coveted ghost guide which keeps the walkway clear and free from trip hazards.

We offer 3 variations of frame systems that can also be matched with our Pocket Doors and Sliding Doors. Choose from Architraves, Shadow Gap or Concealed Door Frame Systems.

Door leaves, frames, linings and architrave are then unassembled for shipping, and supplied loose for easy onsite assembly. Our door sets are easy to install with reduced labour time and reduced costs on site.

Shadow Gap Door Frame System

Our Shadow Gap Door Frame System features a groove at the junction between the frame and the wall, creating a modern and minimalistic look. Shadow gap profiles are the perfect solution, as they eliminate the requirement for architraves, allowing for a need, more contemporary design and feel.

The door frames can be colour matched to the door or wall with the choice to have a painted finish within the shadow gap itself. LED lighting can also be set within the profile for a dramatic effect.

Our Shadow Gap Door Frame System has an innovative design that ensures a consistent gap between the frame and walls. We can also offer matching skirting boards, so the groove is continuous as it runs around the door frame and across the bottom of your walls.

The system has a special snap-in plastering mesh incorporated within the profile. This is covered using a plaster skim or is filled, ensuring that cracks do not appear between the wall and the frame. The size of the shadow gap can also be altered to between 3mm and 15mm, using varied thickness frame packers. The system is suitable for single or double-boarded walls.

Concealed Door Frame System

Nominated for 'Best Joinery Product' for Build It Awards 2020, our Concealed Door Frame System blends in perfectly with the surrounding façade, flush fitting without the need for architraves or shadow gaps to give the effect of a hidden frame.

Each frame system is expertly crafted to suit its individual opening, wall depth and build up type. This system can be fixed to stud, masonry, tile or plasterboard without the need to plaster the reveal, and can also be applied to other materials such as wood cladding, metal, plastic, concrete or porcelain.  

For contemporary styling, our concealed door set system can also be configured without a head in the ceiling, perfect for floor to ceiling openings. ideal for high-rise residential apartments, commercial developments, hotels and car showrooms.
